Larangeira FC's Jorge Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Monteiro in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Larangeira FC's Cristóvão Correia got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 14th minute, Fernando Monteiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jorge Leão, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Miguel Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espadaneira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Álvaro Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Costa having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Espadaneira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Marques came free, but Tiago Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Costa having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Lúcio Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Espadaneira FC's Tiago Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Marques in the 29th minute of play. When Lucas Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espadaneira FC's protests and gave Lucas Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Espadaneira FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Lucas Abreu hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Eusébio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Marques went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Miguel Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eusébio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Larangeira FC booed when Espadaneira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Filipe Azevedo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Espadaneira FC's Tiago Costa didn't even have to move. Espadaneira FC's Lucas Abreu got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Lucas Abreu off the ground. In the 62nd minute, Lucas Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Espadaneira FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Larangeira FC. Filipe Azevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tiago Costa. 0-2. 72 minutes into the match, Espadaneira FC's Miguel Correia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute Eusébio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio Tavares's late challenge caught a Larangeira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Espadaneira FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Tavares. Eusébio Marques received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiago Costa came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusébio Marques slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 87th minute. Ricardo Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Eusébio Freitas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Miguel Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Larangeira FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
