Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Afonso Aleixo got the match started through his kick off. When Bento Castro fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Alfaquiques's protests and gave Bento Castro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Saide booed when SC Alfaquiques was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Saide's Gaspar Pedroso got a free kick in the 11th minute. Catarino Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Sá in the 13th minute of the match. If Nuno Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Vasco Santos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 26th minute, Vasco Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Nuno Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bento Trindade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Saide's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Melo came free, but Bento Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasco Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Trindade having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasco Santos was the one to do the kick off. Catarino Sá made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Sá in the 53rd minute. SC Alfaquiques's Catarino Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Aleixo in the 56th minute of play. Sebastião Coelho hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to Saide getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ricardo Tavares hit a great ball. Afonso Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Catarino Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saide's Bento Trindade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Neves in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Saide's zone, Bento Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Trindade came out of the goal and Bento Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Catarino Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Vasco Santos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Saide's Bento Trindade. Bento Trindade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Saide players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Alfaquiques from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
