After having played for 14 minutes, Adelino Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Zonho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes in the game, Jorge Fonseca fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Xavier Branco having to interfere. In the 19th minute Jorge Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavier Branco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Fonseca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. In the 27th minute, Adelino Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavier Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Fonseca in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Adelino Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xavier Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Adelino Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Xavier Branco made a huge save. André Macedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Adelino Marques in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xavier Branco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Jorge Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Jacinto Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Marques in the 61st minute of play forced SC Araujo's goalkeeper Xavier Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Fonseca in the 65th minute of play. Xavier Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Marques in the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Zonho's zone, Hélder Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Abreu came out of the goal and Hélder Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, André Macedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusébio Abreu. André Macedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. André Macedo succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. In the 85thth minute of the game André Macedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Zonho's Eusébio Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adelino Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Xavier Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
