Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eduardo Marques started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Joaquim Sousa's late challenge caught a Sabadim FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sabadim FC booed when SC Numao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Américo Valentes short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got João Bessa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eduardo Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Gaspar Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Fontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the SC Numao defense, Américo Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Bessa. The SC Numao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Bessa should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Marques in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, SC Numao's João Bessa got control of the ball when Américo Valente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xavier Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of SC Numao booed when Sabadim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Joel Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Numao's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes of play, SC Numao's Ricardo Melo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Bessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Joaquim Sousa was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to SC Numao getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Joaquim Sousa hit a great ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Gaspar Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Numao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Américo Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. João Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Marques in the 65th minute of the match. Gaspar Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Duarte Guerreiro fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabadim FC's protests and gave Duarte Guerreiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sabadim FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Duarte Guerreiro hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Gaspar Marques fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rafael Porto, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Marques in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Bessa saved SC Numao from getting behind. When Jorge Esteves fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Numao's protests and gave Jorge Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute Eduardo Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, SC Numao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Melo to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Américo Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
