Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sabadim FC's Eduardo Marques started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Sabadim FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Fontes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Américo Valente in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Marinhais booed when Sabadim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rafael Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Porto having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Simão Assunção who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabadim FC's Rafael Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Armindo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sabadim FC's zone, Armindo Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Porto came out of the goal and Armindo Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Rafael Porto managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Marinhais's Armindo Delgado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão Assunção to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sabadim FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jacinto Borges hit a great ball. Rafael Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Delgado's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Sabadim FC's Rafael Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Assunção in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Sabadim FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Xavier Amaro hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Marinhais were awarded a corner. Tomás Resende went to the cornerflag to take it. Simão Cruz made a great header on Marinhais's corner, it was just that Sabadim FC's Rafael Porto managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 65th minute, Joaquim Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Américo Valente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Rui Rocha made a huge save.
