Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gaspar Marques made the kick off which started today's match. Gaspar Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Numao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! João Bessa had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomás Resende's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Simão Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Marinhais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Assunção couldn't finish the play. Simão Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Bessa having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Gaspar Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Numao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Rocha came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Numao's Joel Borges. But to his dismay, Joel Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Armindo Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marinhais's Simão Assunção got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rui Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SC Numao booed when Marinhais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, SC Numao's Óscar Resende broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Marques in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Rocha saved Marinhais from getting behind. 48 minutes into the match, Armindo Delgado notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Numao's João Bessa. João Bessa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Simão Assunção made the kick off in the second half. João Bessa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Rui Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Marques in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Joel Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes SC Numao got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Sousa. After having played for 70 minutes, Gaspar Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Numao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Borges in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, SC Numao's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Assunção came free, but João Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Bessa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Assunção's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Joel Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Rocha having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Joel Borges put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rui Rocha. After 86 minutes, Joaquim Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Numao and the Marinhais players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Simão Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marinhais's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Assunção was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Bessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot by Fernando Baptista from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got João Bessa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Joel Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Rui Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
