Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlos Sá took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Gustavo Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the match, Veral's Eduardo Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Campos in the 8th minute of play forced Bente FC's goalkeeper Augusto Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 13 minutes, Gustavo Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bente FC! When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Veral's Joaquim Ribeiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Augusto Veiga. Eduardo Fontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Oliveira Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Sá in the 28th minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Carlos Sá who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veral's Oliveira Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bente FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Gustavo Pires scored to the left of an out of position Augusto Veiga, making the score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Eduardo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Bente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Pires came free, but Augusto Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bente FC's zone, Gustavo Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Veiga came out of the goal and Gustavo Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Carlos Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliveira Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Fontes struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Augusto Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veral. Bente FC's Augusto Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontes in the 84th minute of play. Paulo Ferreira hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Augusto Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Pires in the 89th minute of play. Paulo Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Cardoso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 94th playminute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
