Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bruno Vieira kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Bruno Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Viana was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. When António Leão came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Grade FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Leão couldn't finish the play. Grade FC's Afonso Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Reis in the 11th minute of play. Afonso Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cândido Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rui Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Viana having to interfere. Júlio Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Grade FC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Neves. Albertino Moutinho's late challenge caught a Alcangosta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertino Moutinho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alcangosta FC booed when Grade FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grade FC's goalkeeper Afonso Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Grade FC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Neves. Rui Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Viana having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrique Brás made a kick off. Miguel Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Marques in the 52nd minute of play. Rui Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Afonso Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Vieira in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Rui Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcangosta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Hugo Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Grade FC's zone, Rui Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Viana came out of the goal and Rui Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Henrique Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grade FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alcangosta FC's Miguel Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Marques in the 71st minute of play. The corner ended in Francisco Gueifão almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alcangosta FC's Miguel Moutinho did a great save. 76 minutes into the game, Francisco Gueifão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grade FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcangosta FC the free kick. In the 76th minute, one of Grade FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grade FC. When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Alcangosta FC's Vicente Ramos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Afonso Viana. Miguel Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Henrique Brás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grade FC's Afonso Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Grade FC from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Alcangosta FC's Bruno Vieira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Viana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Afonso Viana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Henrique Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grade FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Brás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Moutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Moutinho having to make a save. If Henrique Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Vicente Ramos, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
