Filipe Ferro started the match with the kick off. Afonso Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Lisboa having to make a save. Alberto Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Nuno Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ebora FC's Filipe Ferro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nuno Marques. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Ebora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Resende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corveira FC's Duarte Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mário Resende's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nuno Marques firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mário Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nuno Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Aguiar in the 42nd minute of play forced Ebora FC's goalkeeper Alberto Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Queirós to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Duarte Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corveira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Ferro in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Corveira FC booed when Ebora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alberto Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Magalhães couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Ebora FC's goalkeeper Alberto Lisboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Queirós. Fernando Teixeira hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Rui Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ebora FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rui Cruz hit a great ball. Mário Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nuno Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Resende in the 95th minute of play forced Corveira FC's goalkeeper Nuno Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ebora FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Corveira FC for a fine match.
