Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vasco Lima kicked off to start the match. Manuel Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Daniel Brito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Ferreira skillfully saved the ball. José Jesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Francisco Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jorge Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Longa FC's André Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Longa FC from getting a goal against them. José Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Ferro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Francisco Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Ferro struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. José Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longa FC. If Francisco Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Longa FC booed when Guilhofrei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Jesus made a kick off. Marco Pereira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guilhofrei's goalkeeper José Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Guilhofrei's goalkeeper José Valente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Ferro. Vasco Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Longa FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Brito. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Francisco Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Ferro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Guilhofrei getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hugo Ferro hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guilhofrei's goalkeeper José Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Guilhofrei got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Borba. Francisco Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Jesus in the 77th minute of the match. Vasco Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Valente having to interfere. Francisco Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. José Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Valente came out and tried to block the shot, but Vasco Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasco Lima in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Valente saved Guilhofrei from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Longa FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
