João Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nuno Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, SC Gondalaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Maia to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Gondalaes's Carlos Maia got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Toninha's zone, Óscar Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Bessa came out of the goal and Óscar Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Andrade got free with Nuno Bessa in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viriato Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. SC Gondalaes's Cristiano Santos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Toninha. 74 minutes into the match, SC Toninha's goalkeeper Nuno Bessa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Andrade. After 76 minutes, Óscar Paredes made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Toninha's Nuno Bessa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute Heitor Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Coimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, SC Toninha's Heitor Santarém sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Coimbra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90thth minute of the game Óscar Paredes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Toninha's Nuno Bessa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Bessa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Paredes in the 94th minute of play forced SC Toninha's goalkeeper Nuno Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Paredes in the 97th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, SC Gondalaes failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
