Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Domingos Trindade made the kick off and thus started the match. Domingos Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Bessa having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Heitor Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alguber's Luís Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Amaral in the 16th minute of play. José Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 minutes of play, Pianos's Henrique Pinho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Delgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão Torres during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pianos booed when Alguber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a long run with the ball, Filipe Santarém did a trick in the 29th minute in front of Alguber's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-2. An impressive performance by Pianos's Filipe Santarém! If José Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pianos were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Alguber's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filipe Santarém took the corner. The corner ended in Augusto Ferreira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alguber's Luís Delgado did a great save. In the 40th minute, Emanuel Nascimento had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Ferreira during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Pianos got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Ferreira. José Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Bessa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. José Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Luís Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Amaral made a kick off. Luís Delgado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. If José Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Melo in the 70th minute of the match. Vicente Bessa came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Alguber's José Melo. But to his dismay, José Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 76th minute, Alguber's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henrique Pinho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 77 minutes into the game, João Coelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alguber's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pianos the free kick. After having played for 83 minutes, José Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alguber's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Alguber booed when Pianos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. When José Melo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Alguber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Melo couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Amaral in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Delgado saved Alguber from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Raul Brás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Bessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Bessa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Melo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The Alguber supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pianos's performance. The match ended with a win for Pianos.
