In the 3rd match minute, Passos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Passos's Vítor Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, SC Reca's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Reis came free, but Domingos Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Vítor Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Passos's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Oliveira Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Passos's Alexandre Pedroso got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes SC Reca got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Valente. If Armindo Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SC Reca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Passos were winning 0-1.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Alexandre Pedroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Passos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Reca the free kick. Alexandre Pedroso hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Fernando Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Soares having to interfere. When Oliveira Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SC Reca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliveira Veiga couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Pedroso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Vítor Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Viana having to interfere. Oliveira Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jorge Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Armindo Sá made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Soares. Passos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. SC Reca's Domingos Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Pedroso in the 87th minute of play. When Oliveira Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SC Reca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliveira Veiga couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
