Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugo Mendes kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd of the match, Delfim Branco tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Daniel Moura got in the way and made a wonderful save. Cristiano Monteiro's late challenge caught a SC Carapacho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. 5 minutes into the game, one of Mindel FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for SC Carapacho. Carlos Henriques stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Moura. 1-0. André Paivas short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Daniel Moura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, SC Carapacho's Fernando Ribeiro got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Melo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Borges saved SC Carapacho from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, SC Carapacho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Catarino Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Mindel FC's Lourenço Guerreiro tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Marco Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mindel FC's protests and gave Marco Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Marco Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Melo in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Borges saved SC Carapacho from getting behind. Viriato Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mindel FC's Raul Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Carapacho's zone, Raul Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Borges came out of the goal and Raul Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 played minutes SC Carapacho got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Ribeiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Hugo Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mindel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

SC Carapacho's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, André Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Sérgio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Sérgio Borges made a huge save. If Raul Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, SC Carapacho's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Melo came free, but Sérgio Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mindel FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because SC Carapacho had won, even though Mindel FC had held more of the ball.
