Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cândido Paredes started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Vítor Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Carapacho and the SC Gafa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes SC Carapacho got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Garcia. Carlos Henriques hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Carapacho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Santarém was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Gafa's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SC Gafa's corner Pedro Santarém fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sérgio Borges quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to SC Gafa getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Marco Castro hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Alfredo Macedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Pereira skillfully saved the ball. SC Carapacho's Carlos Henriques shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ricardo Pereira but with some difficulty. Gil Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delfim Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Paiva in the 58th minute of play forced SC Gafa's goalkeeper Ricardo Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Branco in the 67th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes SC Carapacho got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Macedo. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Gafa's goalkeeper Ricardo Pereira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Gafa's Pedro Santarém got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 82 played minutes SC Carapacho got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Garcia. Sérgio Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cândido Paredes's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Manuel Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Gafa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Carapacho the free kick. After 88 played minutes SC Gafa got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Ferreira. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
