Arazede's Filipe Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Neto in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, Duarte Paredes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arazede fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertino Neves in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Assis saved SC Cintrao from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Arazede's Paulo Nascimento got a free kick in the 12th minute. Inácio Cardoso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, one of SC Cintrao:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Arazede getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Albertino Neves hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Arazede's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Sá came free, but Filipe Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pedro Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Cintrao's Álvaro Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Paredes in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, SC Cintrao's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Neves came free, but Álvaro Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Nunes's late challenge caught a Arazede's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. Vítor Nunes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. SC Cintrao's Álvaro Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Neves in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Miranda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bento Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Miranda in the 56th minute of play. When Pedro Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the SC Cintrao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Miranda couldn't finish the play. Duarte Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Bessa came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Cintrao's Pedro Miranda. But to his dismay, Pedro Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Pedro Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes Arazede got a freekick which was hit by Luís Branco. Arazede's Filipe Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Miranda in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cintrao's zone, Albertino Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Assis came out of the goal and Albertino Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Álvaro Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Bessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
