In the 5th minute Jorge Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Sandro Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fernando Neves fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sezelhe FC's protests and gave Fernando Neves a yellow card for diving instead. If Mariano Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tiago Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sezelhe FC's protests and gave Tiago Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. Tiago Dantas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Paulo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sezelhe FC's Mariano Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Freitas scored 1-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duarte Assis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sezelhe FC's Mariano Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amílcar Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sezelhe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílcar Carvalho couldn't finish the play. After 62 played minutes Sezelhe FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Dantas. Mariano Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Mariano Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Resende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Moutinho having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Sezelhe FC's zone, Jorge Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Moutinho came out of the goal and Jorge Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Paulo Lima got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Urraca FC's Jorge Tavares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mariano Moutinho. That made the score 1-1 after 77 minutes of play. Mariano Moutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 90 minutes, Jorge Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urraca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
