A hard shot 3 in the game by Albertino Matos from a close distance when the talented Jorge Rocha managed to make a qualified save. Dornes's players were relieved. 8 minutes into the match, Albertino Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Rocha. Dornes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albertino Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jorge Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albertino Matos in the 11th minute. Jorge Rocha made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Albertino Matos sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Cláudio Baptista notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Raivo's Cristiano Aguiar. The supporters of Dornes booed when SC Raivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Aguiar having to interfere. Joel Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cristiano Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Hugo Paredes sped through Dornes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Rocha. If Hugo Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 59th match minute, SC Raivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Albertino Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jorge Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertino Matos took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Rocha. Jorge Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. During the 79th minute of the match Jorge Miranda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jorge Miranda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cláudio Baptista struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cristiano Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dornes. Joel Ferro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Cristiano Aguiar made a huge save. A collision led to Dornes getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Vasco Azevedo hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Albertino Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jorge Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albertino Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jorge Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dornes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
