Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Urraca FC's Jorge Tavares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Urraca FC got a freekick which was hit by João Brito. Duarte Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Azevedo in the 4th minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, Urraca FC's Jorge Tavares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorge Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Urraca FC's Paulo Lima got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Jorge Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Urraca FC's Duarte Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Baptista in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Urraca FC's goalkeeper Duarte Assis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dornes's Inácio Cabral pulled a muscle in his leg after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Urraca FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Duarte Resende hit a great ball. Dornes's Vasco Azevedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Urraca FC. The supporters of Urraca FC booed when Dornes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Duarte Assis managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Dornes's Joel Ferro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 48 minutes into the match, Dornes's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Tavares came free, but Jorge Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Ferro to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Dornes's Joel Ferro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duarte Assis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After having played for 58 minutes, Joel Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dornes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Ferro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fernando Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes, João Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urraca FC and the Dornes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Urraca FC got a freekick which was hit by João Ramos. If Joel Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. After 84 played minutes Urraca FC got a freekick which was hit by André Henriques. When Fernando Matos came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Dornes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Matos couldn't finish the play. After having played for 95 minutes, Paulo Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urraca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
