Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. André Borba started the match with the kick off. Lúcio Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Ferro in the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Tapada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. If António Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Borba in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Assumar's zone, António Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Cunha came out of the goal and António Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Lúcio Nogueira made a huge save. In the 31st match minute, Tapada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. António Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Miguel Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Filipe Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, José Faro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tapada's Lúcio Nogueira didn't even have to move. Tiago Ferro struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Lúcio Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Assumar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
André Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Assumar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when António Morais scored to the left of an out of position Miguel Cunha, making the score, 0-1. After 58 minutes of play, Assumar's Nuno Martins made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Nogueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Miguel Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If António Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Tapada's Lúcio Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Martins in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tapada's Américo Rodrigues got a free kick in the 78th minute. Tiago Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Nogueira having to interfere. André Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Miguel Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Américo Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Assumar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! When António Morais came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Tapada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Morais couldn't finish the play. Miguel Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Borba in the 94th minute of the match. Joaquim Viegas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lúcio Nogueira. Tapada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 97th minute, Filipe Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Assumar's Nuno Martins in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tapada's goalie prevented a goal. The Tapada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tapada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
