Adolfo Leão hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Américo Aleixo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Nascimento. SC Remostia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo Aleixo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of SC Remostia booed when Relvinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Xavier Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Pacheco in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexandre Carneiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 17th match minute, Relvinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Campos to maneuver through the defense. Relvinha FC's Alexandre Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Marques in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Xavier Marques took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alexandre Carneiro to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th minute, Oliveira Pacheco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Relvinha FC's Alexandre Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Relvinha FC from getting a goal against them. After 39 minutes, Américo Aleixo made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. SC Remostia's Nuno Nascimento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuno Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Albertino Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Américo Aleixo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Xavier Marques made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Relvinha FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for SC Remostia. Eduardo Guarda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alexandre Carneiro. 3-3. If Basílio Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. SC Remostia's Nuno Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Aleixo in the 80th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Relvinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Faro. After 84 played minutes, SC Remostia's Eduardo Guarda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Carneiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Remostia reached it. Nuno Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Faro in the 85th minute of the match. Oliveira Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oliveira Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Carneiro having to interfere. A collision led to SC Remostia getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Albertino Paredes hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Relvinha FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
