Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gabriel Rocha took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes, Lafrana's Lúcio Pedroso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Machado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lafrana reached it. Benfica FC's Viriato Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Lafrana's Gabriel Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Rocha during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Rocha hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Benfica FC's Viriato Abreu in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lafrana's goalie prevented a goal. António Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alexandre Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Benfica FC's zone, Gabriel Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Machado came out of the goal and Gabriel Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
Gabriel Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Machado having to interfere. Gabriel Rocha struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Alexandre Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lafrana. 60 minutes into the match, Benfica FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Vieira came free, but Alexandre Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alexandre Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Machado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Benfica FC! 2-1 became the score in the 84th minute when Gabriel Rocha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. João Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Viriato Abreu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Rocha in the 92nd minute of play forced Benfica FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 99 minutes, Bento Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benfica FC and the Lafrana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 99 played minutes Benfica FC got a freekick which was hit by Bento Castro.
