In the 7th match minute, Caramao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Cândido Monteiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from António Resende. In the 9th minute, Carlos Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cândido Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Nunes in the 12th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Cabral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cândido Monteiro was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th match minute, Caramao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cândido Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Monteiro having to interfere. If Adolfo Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Cadeade's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Sousa came free, but Luís Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Dias in the 46th minute of play forced Cadeade's goalkeeper Luís Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Adolfo Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadeade's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Caramao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Cabral came free, but Cândido Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as António Dias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Barros. That made the score 0-1 in the 64 minute of play. António Dias was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Cadeade getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ricardo Aleixo hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caramao FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
