Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cristiano Setúbal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute of the match, Humberto Silva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nuno Freitas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fábio Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonçalo Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fábio Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Humberto Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes Carqueijo FC got a freekick which was hit by Artur Magalhães. Cristiano Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Freitas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th match minute, SC Morgade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Carqueijo FC's Artur Magalhães got a free kick in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Humberto Silva notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Morgade's Nuno Freitas. Nuno Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Filipe Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Gonçalo Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Cunha in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonçalo Cunha made a kick off. Carqueijo FC's Fábio Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Carqueijo FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, SC Morgade's Bento Veiga got a free kick in the 67th minute. Fábio Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Cunha in the 73rd minute of the match. Cristiano Setúbal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Fábio Paredes made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Filipe Faria sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute, SC Morgade's Filipe Faria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Morgade walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
