After 15 played minutes Belide got a freekick which was hit by António Pereira. In the 17th minute of the match Humberto Porto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inácio Araújo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Lapas FC's Alexandre Faria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Inácio Araújo. Inácio Araújo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Lapas FC's Alexandre Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inácio Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Faria in the 24th minute of the match. Alberto Campos's late challenge caught a Lapas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belide's goalkeeper Inácio Araújo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Basílio Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Nogueira in the 43rd minute of play. Gaspar Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. With an all-out effort, Belide's Basílio Martins threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaspar Andrade, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rui Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Lapas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
