Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Rocha started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Leal during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nuno Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fernando Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. António Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Rocha in the 24th minute of play. Rui Rocha took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Leiria. Fernando Leiria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Pandoses FC's António Viana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Santarém narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Sebastião Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chapinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pandoses FC the free kick. Sebastião Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Tiago Teixeira scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Leiria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Artur Leal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernando Leiria. Pandoses FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and António Viana made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Chapinha's Tiago Teixeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Leiria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Pandoses FC got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Valente. Rui Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hélder Santarém was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Fernando Leiria made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Tiago Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. Cristiano Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Rocha in the 85th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Chapinha's Rui Rocha in the 88th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fernando Leiria was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pandoses FC through an amazing save. Cristiano Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélder Santarém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Cristiano Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chapinha eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
