Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Neto started the match with the kick off. Manuel Porto struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Rui Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacela. A collision led to Cacela getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Júlio Faro hit a great ball. When Jorge Neto came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Coelhal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Neto couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Coelhal FC's Xavier Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Vieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 19 minutes, David Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coelhal FC and the Cacela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Coelhal FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Delfim Teixeira hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Coelhal FC's zone, Pedro Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Abreu came out of the goal and Pedro Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Porto was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Coelhal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Rui Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Porto in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Coelhal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Porto came free, but Rui Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Abreu having to interfere. Rui Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Porto in the 82nd minute of the match. Xavier Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Vieira having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Gaspar Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Vieira having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Jorge Neto notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cacela's Carlos Vieira. Carlos Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the match, Cacela's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Rocha came free, but Carlos Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coelhal FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
