Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marco Carvalho got the match started through his kick off. SC Marvila's Bruno Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Carvalho in the 5th minute of play. Paulo Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Viriato Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Carvalho in the 9th minute of play forced SC Marvila's goalkeeper Bruno Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Santos came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Marvila's Eusébio Leal. But to his dismay, Eusébio Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Ferreira during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Raul Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Mendes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 18 minutes, Marco Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viriato Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Leal in the 23rd minute of play. Eusébio Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Santos having to interfere. Bruno Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Tiago Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Santos having to interfere. Daniel Silva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Mendes. SC Marvila's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 40 played minutes SC Marvila got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Baptista. 41 minutes into the match, SC Marvila's goalkeeper Bruno Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Gonçalves. In the 43rd minute of the match Ferro FC got a corner. SC Marvila's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafael Nascimento ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nuno Baptista tried in the game's 43rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Bruno Mendes. An annoying self made goal, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Marvila's goalkeeper Bruno Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eusébio Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Ferreira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viriato Santos. That made the score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. After 59 minutes, Afonso Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferro FC and the SC Marvila players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Afonso Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes SC Marvila's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafael Nascimento who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rafael Nascimento got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruno Mendes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Gonçalves in the 67th minute of play forced SC Marvila's goalkeeper Bruno Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Raul Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Ferro's late challenge caught a Ferro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. Bruno Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Carvalho in the 74th minute of play. Viriato Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Ferreira in the 76th minute of play. Bruno Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Carvalho in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Nuno Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Marvila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes in the game, Raul Gonçalves dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Raul Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bruno Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Marco Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
