After 26 played minutes, SC Penas's Mário Moura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Duarte Morais came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Penas reached it. 27 minutes into the match, Altura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Soares came free, but Duarte Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Penas's Adelino Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Ramos in the 59th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
