Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when João Miranda got the match started through his kick off. Paulo Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Adelino Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Nuno Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jagardo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jagardo's zone, Paulo Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Andrade came out of the goal and Paulo Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Soares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Tomás Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Jagardo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nuno Faro hit a great ball. If Daniel Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Jagardo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Moniz to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

SC Penas's Paulo Brás got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Paulo Brás came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the SC Penas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Brás couldn't finish the play. Daniel Soares struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Júlio Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Penas. Rui Cruz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Miranda in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adelino Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nuno Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Soares in the 81st minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Jagardo got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Rocha. In the 89th minute of the match Luís Barbosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adelino Cruz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulo Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Júlio Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Nuno Faro put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adelino Cruz. SC Penas's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Jagardo had won, even though SC Penas had held more of the ball.
