Eduardo Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Henriques in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to SC Almadena getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Augusto Abreu hit a great ball. Jorge Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eduardo Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Almadena defense, Jorge Henriques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Campos. The SC Almadena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Campos should have stopped the shot. 0-2 became the score in the 24th minute when Heitor Lopes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of SC Crespelas booed when SC Almadena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heitor Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, SC Crespelas's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Abreu came free, but Eusébio Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jorge Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Jorge Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SC Almadena getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. André Faro hit a great ball. Augusto Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eusébio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, SC Almadena's Adolfo Faro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Heitor Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Crespelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jorge Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eusébio Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Abreu in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Abreu in the 74th minute of play forced SC Crespelas's goalkeeper Eusébio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Faro in the 76th minute of play. SC Almadena's Eduardo Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save SC Almadena from getting a goal against them. If Adolfo Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Augusto Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Crespelas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
