Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gonçalo Santos got the match started through his kick off. Gonçalo Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Faro during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Almadena's André Faro got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, one of SC Almadena:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Almadena. The referee gave Dornas FC a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manuel Gomes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Almadena's Eduardo Campos. 1-0. After 11 played minutes SC Almadena got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Abreu. With a little luck, SC Almadena's Eduardo Campos got control of the ball when Paulo Guarda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Almadena's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manuel Gomes was slow to take the kick. During this time Dornas FC's players had a chance to rest. Dornas FC's Gonçalo Santos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eduardo Campos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 18th minute, Adolfo Faro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dornas FC's goalkeeper Hugo Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Eduardo Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Campos made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gonçalo Santos sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, SC Almadena's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo Guarda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Adolfo Faro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dornas FC's Hugo Abreu. Hugo Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Paulo Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Campos having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, SC Almadena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Faro to maneuver through the defense. Dornas FC's Manuel Gomes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Almadena. Hugo Abreu made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Adolfo Faro sent off a good shot on target. If Augusto Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Afonso Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Albertino Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Almadena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dornas FC the free kick. Albertino Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Paulo Guarda notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Almadena's Eduardo Campos. Eduardo Campos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rogério Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Eduardo Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dornas FC. SC Almadena's Adolfo Faro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Adolfo Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Abreu having to interfere. Augusto Abreu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. SC Almadena's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dornas FC's zone, Augusto Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Abreu came out of the goal and Augusto Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Almadena's Eduardo Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Guarda in the 95th minute of play. Adolfo Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Hugo Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 99 minutes into the match, SC Almadena's Augusto Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
