Miguel Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basílio Monteiro succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Rui Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Rui Ribeiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miguel Pereira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Miguel Pereira made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Basílio Luz sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, SC Alcanena's Simão Andrade got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Manuel Magalhães, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 36th minute, Rui Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 played minutes SC Alcanena got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Dantas. If Jorge Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Ribeiro was the one to do the kick off. António Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Afonso Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Gustavo Ferro charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Ferro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carvalhal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! After having played for 70 minutes, Rui Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carvalhal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Jorge Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 94 played minutes SC Alcanena got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Rocha. Miguel Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Miguel Pereira came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Carvalhal FC's Rui Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Rui Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The SC Alcanena players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Carvalhal FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
