Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Xavier Simões got the match started through his kick off. Américo Cabral took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Teixeira. Luís Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th minute, João Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavier Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rombarral FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. João Oliveira hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, SC Fraiao's Delfim Garcia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Américo Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Luís Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Santarém's late challenge caught a SC Fraiao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Santarém helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Rombarral FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Santarém. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Viana in the 21st minute of play forced Rombarral FC's goalkeeper Luís Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, SC Fraiao's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Simões came free, but Tiago Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rombarral FC's Luís Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Cabral in the 29th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Luís Guarda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Fraiao and the Rombarral FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiago Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasco Carneiro in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Xavier Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Viana got free with Luís Teixeira in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Viana in the 63rd minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Américo Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Fraiao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. João Oliveira was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Rombarral FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. João Oliveira hit a great ball. André Viana took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Teixeira. Luís Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 75 minutes into the match, Américo Cabral notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Rombarral FC's Luís Teixeira. Luís Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Cabral in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, one of Rombarral FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rombarral FC:s Luís Teixeira showed great skill when he stopped Delfim Garcia:s penalty. In the 89th minute, André Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Teixeira stood somewhat misplaced when Américo Cabral came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 90 minute. 96 minutes into the match, Rombarral FC's Vasco Carneiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 97th minute, André Viana fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luís Teixeira, passed just outside the right post. SC Fraiao's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
