Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gustavo Viana took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Martins in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Américo Azevedo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Alexandre Queirós 5 minutes into the match. Carrascos FC's Pedro Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Martins in the 12th minute of play. Hugo Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Figueiredo having to interfere. A collision led to Carrascos FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rui Viana hit a great ball. Pedro Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pedro Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Carrascos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Teixeira came free, but Pedro Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Viana was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Carrascos FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mariano Fonseca hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Gustavo Viana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexandre Queirós. Gustavo Viana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 46th minute, Hugo Teixeira made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Figueiredo. Carrascos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Gonçalo Jesus hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Rui Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes, Xavier Guerreiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gala FC and the Carrascos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Carrascos FC's zone, Hugo Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Figueiredo came out of the goal and Hugo Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hugo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Américo Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Gala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Matias came free, but Alexandre Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Gala FC's Daniel Campos tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Hugo Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Carrascos FC's zone, Rui Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Figueiredo came out of the goal and Rui Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carrascos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gala FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
