Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Adecide's Alexandre Assis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Santarém during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Adecide fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Eusébio Santarém, was totally fooled by SC Lamosa's Amadeu Alves, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Assis in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Guerreiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, José Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Adecide's supporters rose to their feet, but José Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, SC Lamosa's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Assis came free, but João Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Eusébio Santarém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, SC Adecide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenço Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Adelino Matos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eusébio Santarém. The goal made the score 2-0. SC Adecide's Eusébio Santarém proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save SC Adecide from getting a goal against them. José Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. João Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

João Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Assis in the 65th minute of the match. Rodrigo Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusébio Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Matos in the 71st minute of play. If Rodrigo Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Adecide's zone, Adelino Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Santarém came out of the goal and Adelino Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Rodrigo Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 played minutes SC Lamosa got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Alves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Anjos in the 95th minute of play forced SC Adecide's goalkeeper Eusébio Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Adecide's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
