Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Borba started the match with the kick off. After 8 minutes, Marco Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samo FC and the SC Lamosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, SC Lamosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, one of SC Lamosa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Lamosa. When Humberto Vale fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samo FC's protests and gave Humberto Vale a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Samo FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Humberto Vale hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Adelino Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Dantas. Samo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adelino Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 24th play minutes Adelino Matos shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Paulo Dantas and just under the crossbar into goal. João Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Marco Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Guerreiro having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Jaime Borba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Lamosa's João Guerreiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adelino Matos's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Rodrigo Anjos struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Paulo Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Lamosa. Samo FC's Marco Dias got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Marco Dias off the ground. Marco Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half SC Lamosa were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rodrigo Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Paulo Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Samo FC's Jaime Borba in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Lamosa's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Jaime Borba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. João Guerreiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Samo FC's Jaime Borba got a free kick in the 64th minute. Adelino Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, SC Lamosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Matos to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes, Américo Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lamosa and the Samo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Samo FC's Jaime Borba in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Lamosa's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Rodrigo Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lamosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Anjos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jaime Borba came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Samo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Borba couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, SC Lamosa's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Vale came free, but João Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Samo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Lamosa's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Lamosa.
