After 32 played minutes Alcabideche FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Azevedo. The supporters of Antigo FC booed when Alcabideche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Mário Macedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.

Hélder Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Pires having to interfere. Delfim Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delfim Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Morais in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, one of Antigo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Antigo FC's Jacinto Aguiar got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jorge Rocha hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Manuel Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hélder Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Antigo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Morais to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alcabideche FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Antigo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
