Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute of the match Joel Rocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júlio Freitas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Vítor Moura came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the SC Palma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Moura couldn't finish the play. Vítor Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basílio Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Amaral in the 9th minute of play. After 14 minutes Paramos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Sá who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SC Palma's corner Mariano Sá fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Júlio Freitas quite easily take care of the ball. Manuel Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Basílio Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Palma's Amílcar Vale got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of Paramos FC booed when SC Palma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Miguel Pereira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Rodrigues skillfully saved the ball. Júlio Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Moura in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, António Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Vítor Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vítor Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40thth minute of the game Manuel Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Palma's Basílio Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vítor Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Júlio Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Paramos FC's Manuel Amaral. But to his dismay, Manuel Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee gave SC Palma a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mariano Sá, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Paramos FC's Júlio Freitas. 1-1. After 58 minutes, Joel Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Palma and the Paramos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Palma's Joel Rocha got a free kick in the 58th minute. Basílio Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Amaral in the 59th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Pedro Leal in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, SC Palma's Afonso Dantas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 71st minute Manuel Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Manuel Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paramos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pedro Leal came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Paramos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Leal couldn't finish the play. Júlio Freitas came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Palma's Vítor Moura. But to his dismay, Vítor Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Palma had won after a very even match.
