Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. André Figueiredo started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Figueiredo in the 6th minute of play forced Vasconha's goalkeeper Jorge Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Cristiano Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Abreu having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Augusto Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedrulha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vasconha the free kick. A collision led to Pedrulha getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Augusto Freitas hit a great ball. Vasconha's Pedro Bessa got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diamantino Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Bento Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedrulha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vasconha the free kick. A collision led to Pedrulha getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bento Paredes hit a great ball. Cristiano Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Abreu having to interfere. In the 39th minute Cristiano Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Óscar Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Pedrulha booed when Vasconha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes, Pedrulha's Bento Paredes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge Pinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pedrulha reached it. After a rather tough play, Vasconha's Óscar Faria got a free kick in the 48th minute. 49 minutes into the match, Pedrulha's Bento Paredes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cristiano Gonçalves made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Pedrulha defense, Cristiano Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Abreu. The Pedrulha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Abreu should have stopped the shot. If Pedro Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Pedro Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vasconha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Bessa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eduardo Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, one of Vasconha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Jorge Pinto, was totally fooled by Pedrulha's Bento Paredes, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Pedro Bessa struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Eduardo Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasconha. When Vasconha's Cristiano Gonçalves in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pedrulha's goalie prevented a goal. Eduardo Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pedrulha's Diamantino Pires got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vasconha players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
