Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Sousa got the match started through his kick off. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Marco Trindade got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Humberto Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Sousa in the 20th minute of play. Vasco Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Mendes in the 22nd minute of the match. Marco Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Américo Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Marco Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vasco Baptista. Mourisca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Vasco Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Vasco Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Mendes in the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Marco Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mourisca FC's Vasco Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Leite in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Américo Mendes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Marco Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Leite got free with Vasco Baptista in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Joel Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Aleixo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Marco Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Mendes in the 76th minute of play. If Américo Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ester's zone, Marco Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Aleixo came out of the goal and Marco Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the SC Ester defense, Joel Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Aleixo. The SC Ester fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Aleixo should have stopped the shot. Joel Sousa spun around in front of the goal 95 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SC Ester's goal. 98 minutes into the match, Joel Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Aleixo. SC Ester's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Mourisca FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Ester for a fine match.
