When Vicente Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tangil's protests and gave Vicente Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Tangil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Fontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 9thth minute of the game Bruno Borba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tangil's José Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristiano Paredes made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Daniel Marques sent off a good shot on target. If Bruno Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tangil's goalkeeper José Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adelino Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Tangil's Vicente Fontes got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of Argivai FC booed when Tangil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Argivai FC a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Domingos Cunha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tangil's José Maia. 1-1. Cristiano Paredes made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Daniel Marques sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Daniel Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tangil's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes Tangil got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Rocha.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Bessa made a kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Tangil's Alexandre Rocha tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. José Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, José Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tangil's supporters rose to their feet, but José Bessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adelino Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maia having to interfere. In the 77th minute, José Bessa made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Paredes. Argivai FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cristiano Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Marques in the 84th minute of the match. Tangil's José Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Tangil from getting a goal against them. Cristiano Paredes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Bessa went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Tangil's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
