Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Espariz's Gonçalo Aguiar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes SC Espariz got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Aguiar. Joaquim Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basílio Coimbra during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basílio Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Camaroes got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Borba. Gonçalo Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gonçalo Aguiar was shown his second yellow card after 19 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 19th match minute, SC Espariz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Espariz's zone, Mariano Borba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Valente came out of the goal and Mariano Borba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Borba took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Valente. Amadeu Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mariano Borba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Valente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. If Mariano Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, SC Espariz's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Andrade came free, but Amadeu Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Amadeu Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Andrade made a kick off. With a little luck, SC Espariz's Amadeu Valente got control of the ball when Mariano Borba tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, SC Espariz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Brás to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SC Espariz booed when Camaroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes of play, SC Espariz's Ricardo Vale made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Figueiredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquim Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Valente having to interfere. Amadeu Valente made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Mariano Borba sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Camaroes's Joaquim Andrade got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Joaquim Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Amadeu Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Valente having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, SC Espariz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. If Joaquim Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camaroes were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
