The Irivo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Morais should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Rui Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irivo FC's Pedro Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Irivo FC's Filipe Monteiro. But to his dismay, Filipe Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alberto Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Moredo's Rui Ferreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Morais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Ferro came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alberto Morais could save by the left post. In the 41st minute Jorge Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irivo FC's Alberto Morais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Irivo FC from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Rui Ferreira made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Pinheiro having to interfere. Filipe Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Pinheiro was a little too slow when Filipe Monteiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 2-2. After 60 played minutes Irivo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Nascimento. Alberto Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Ferreira in the 65th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Filipe Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irivo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the game, Eusébio Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irivo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moredo the free kick. Eusébio Barbosa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Moredo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Augusto Ferreira hit a great ball. Cristóvão Barbosa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Pedro Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot.
