Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredo Simões got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Barbacena getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Humberto Assunção hit a great ball. If Alfredo Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Cardoso's late challenge caught a Seixal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barbacena's Jaime Cardoso got a free kick in the 5th minute. Joaquim Teixeira in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Américo Campos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luís Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cristóvão Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Nunes in the 14th minute of play forced Seixal FC's goalkeeper Cristóvão Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Alfredo Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seixal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquim Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Américo Campos made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Francisco Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Barbacena's Humberto Assunção got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Henriques in the 32nd minute of play forced Seixal FC's goalkeeper Cristóvão Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Júlio Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Henriques in the 42nd minute of play. Cristóvão Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Henriques in the 47th minute of the match. When Barbacena's Luís Henriques in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seixal FC's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Américo Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Barbacena defense, Alfredo Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Américo Campos. The Barbacena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Américo Campos should have stopped the shot. After having played for 58 minutes, Luís Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbacena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Henriques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Garcia having to interfere. With a little luck, Seixal FC's Cristóvão Garcia got control of the ball when Júlio Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Henriques was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 71st minute, Joaquim Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seixal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Joaquim Teixeira took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Américo Campos. Américo Campos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Alexandre Vaz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Américo Campos. Barbacena's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Many of Barbacena's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Barbacena may have spent more time on the ball, but Seixal FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
