Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eusébio Teixeira kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Paulo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13thth minute of the game Simão Henriques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Piais's Viriato Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Junco booed when SC Piais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Simão Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Junco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Henriques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Paulo Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Junco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Fonseca couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Simão Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Paulo Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Piais's Viriato Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Azevedo in the 20th minute. The nice shot from Rogério Azevedo in the 22ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Fernando Reis had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Tavares during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Piais's Pedro Tavares got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Paulo Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Junco's Filipe Paredes got a free kick in the 30th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Rogério Azevedo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Junco's Fernando Reis. Fernando Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogério Azevedo got free with Fernando Reis in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Paulo Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eusébio Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Paulo Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Fonseca did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Viriato Dias 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Junco booed when SC Piais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Piais's Viriato Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Fonseca in the 60th minute of play. Eusébio Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogério Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Reis having to make a save. A collision led to SC Junco getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Rogério Luz hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Piais booed when SC Junco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, SC Piais's Rogério Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 played minutes SC Junco got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Morais. SC Piais's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nuno Esteves in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes SC Junco got a freekick which was hit by Simão Henriques. After having played for 86 minutes, Rogério Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Piais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogério Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Rogério Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fernando Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, one of SC Junco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for SC Piais. Nuno Esteves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Reis. 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
