SC Cantinho's José Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Antunes in the 6th minute of play. Francisco Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Morais in the 19th minute of the match. José Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute, Gonçalo Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Azevedo's late challenge caught a Vermil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Eduardo Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. José Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Gabriel Antunes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gabriel Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Brás having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, SC Cantinho's Alexandre Leiria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alexandre Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duarte Morais to make the kick off. José Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Antunes in the 56th minute of the match. José Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd match minute, SC Cantinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Pires to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Vermil FC's protests and gave Ricardo Viana a yellow card for diving instead. Francisco Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Brás stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Antunes's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Alexandre Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Costa in the 96th minute of play forced SC Cantinho's goalkeeper José Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SC Cantinho players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Vermil FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
