Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Marchil's Bernardo Luz got a free kick in the 6th minute. Bernardo Luz scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Leal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Marchil's Bernardo Luz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Leal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Emanuel Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Leal having to interfere. Gaspar Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Luz in the 32nd minute of play. If Emanuel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armindo Costa during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Marchil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Costa to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Cunha hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Bernardo Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes Palas FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Fonseca. In the 48thth minute of the game Bernardo Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palas FC's Gaspar Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gaspar Leal made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bernardo Luz sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Palas FC's Catarino Macedo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the Palas FC defense, Bernardo Luz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Leal. The Palas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Leal should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Marchil's Emanuel Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Palas FC's Catarino Macedo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Emanuel Leite struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gaspar Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marchil. Marchil's Cristóvão Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Simões in the 84th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Marchil got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Costa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Bessa in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristóvão Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Palas FC's Miguel Fonseca got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
