Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Barros got the match started through his kick off. Cristiano Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Gaspar Leal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Ramos in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Palas FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Jesus. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Joaquim Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Saborido's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Palas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Saborido:s goal. 23 minutes into the match, SC Saborido's Pedro Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Saborido's zone, Duarte Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lourenço Lopes came out of the goal and Duarte Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Duarte Bessa put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lourenço Lopes. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Simões to strike the kick off in the second half. SC Saborido's Lourenço Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Simões in the 52nd minute of play. If Duarte Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 played minutes SC Saborido got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Ramos. Marco Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Lopes having to interfere. Afonso Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gaspar Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Barros in the 70th minute of play. Pedro Barros scored 1-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Leal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Afonso Jesus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Leal having to make a save. Duarte Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lourenço Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palas FC's Marco Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gaspar Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
