Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almancil's goalkeeper João Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Afonso Amaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Domingues, 1-0. João Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Machado's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Joaquim Machado struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. João Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacavem. In the 21st minute Ricardo Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Amaro in the 24th minute of play. Ricardo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Barros having to interfere. Hugo Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Amaro to make the kick off. Hugo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69thth minute of the game Afonso Amaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacavem's Carlos Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Almancil's João Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Almancil from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Hugo Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Amaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Amaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Fonseca in the 75th minute of play. When Ricardo Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacavem's protests and gave Ricardo Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Fernandes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Afonso Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Afonso Amaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Almancil's Hugo Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Domingues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Sacavem's Joaquim Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
